I have listed out my top 10 list of Singapore Mom Blogs who have continued to engage, entertain, educate and enrich my surfing experience on the world wide web. Singapore Moms who have candidly revealed part of their lives with others on the internet, shared their joys and struggles being a parent, wrote about the matters of the heart and given me a glimpse into their daily lives.
There are many Singapore moms who have, in recent years, jumped on the blogging bandwagon to blog about their children and parenting. But what makes a mom blogger great? It is that ability to share her personality in her own unique voice in the way that she writes. Reading their blogs do feel like I am sitting down having tea with them, while they share with me about their lives. Authenticity is a big thing for me in blogs that I regularly read, and my favorite bloggers are the ones who keep it real by allowing their style, their thoughts, and their willingness to allow different facets of themselves to show through. They don’t need to be entertaining or a great writer all the time, as all they did was to be themselves in their blogs and I feel that I seem to know them as friends, even if I have not met some of them in person. So here is my Top 10 list of Singapore Mom Blogs (not in any specific order) –
1. MamawearPapashirt I enjoy reading June’s perceptive insights about her kids, parenting, her walk with God, and her outlook towards life in general. She is a gracious mom and a reflective writer who writes from the heart.
2. Mamabliss Treasured Moments Pauline is the only mom blogger that I do know personally, as she is my partner at myplayschool.net. She started blogging in 2005, and is one of the veterans at blogging amongst this group of Singapore Mom Bloggers. I got to know her through work in 2004, but lost touch subsequently when I changed jobs. I only got back in touch with her when I started blogging, as I discovered that she is a well-known mom blogger. She is a good-hearted, warm and thoughtful mom who is fabulous at coaching her 2 kids, so creative with her handmades and a great cook. She runs another site, Munch Ministry, a home cooking resource site with over 6000++ members on Facebook! So if u are on the lookout for interesting recipes to whip up for your family, do check out her other site as well.

3. MalMal our Inspiration Rachel Hai Fang is another veteran in the Singapore Mom Blogger scene and has been blogging since 2005. Reading her poetic writings about life, her interests and her family on the blog, makes it hard to believe that she did not use to write well. A creative writer, coupled with amazing pictures, her blog is a great read.
4. Walk with Me Ing, who used to be a teacher by profession, single-handedly nurtures and cares for her 3 kids, without additional help at home. What better use of her skills than being able to teach and raise her kids full-time? She is an inspiration to other SAHMs, as her writing depicts how a SAHM can live a contented and fulfilled life.
5. Rachels Live Journal Rachel Lim is a gifted scrap-booker, who is blessed to be able to convert her passion into a handmade business in scrapbooking. Her blogs shares snippets of her amazing creations, together with life with her two boys. Her blog is a must add to your blog links, if you are a creative mom into scrap-booking and handmades.
Susan is a full time working mom who shares her experiences in juggling her life in her various roles as a mom, a wife and a career woman. Her blog is one of the most consistently updated one here, with lots of interesting information and ideas about where to go, what to do with kids.
7. Mum in the Making Justina is a creative mom who creates unique scrapbooking creations, shares plenty of crafty ideas moms can do with young children, and makes colourful bentos for her son. An excellent photographer who takes beautiful pictures, her blog is a visual fest to the eyes.
8. Mommy Cafe Ruth is a freelance writer and translator who writes informative reviews of products, trends, services, interviews, on top of parenting musings on bringing up her son. If you are thinking of being a work-at-home-mom, or curious how these moms manage it, do read her insights and interview articles.
9. Slice of Adventure Joce is a warm-hearted and courageous mom who recently braved a mission trip to Africa with her two kids in tow. Her blog is a good read, filled with interesting and detailed insights from her experiences in nurturing her two kids.
10. All About Your Child Angeline is a hands-on mom who shares lots of practical tips in parenting; from building a child’s emotional well-being to character development of her two enduring boys. There are lots of ideas shared on her blog that young moms can learn and benefit from, and she is very candid to share her successes and failures of her parenting experiences on her blog.
There are many more good Singapore Mom Blogs in the blogosphere, but I have only listed 10 in this list. For more Singapore Mom Blogs in the blogosphere, check out my blog list.

/ March 8, 2012Hi Rachel, it’s an honour to be part of your list
Especially encouraging for a relatively new blogger like myself!
Thanks for being real, sharing about your struggles and how God speaks to you in the midst of it all. And it’s great reading about Kyle too. We both have very active boys so I can identify with what you write.
Hey, is the WordPress app working for you? I see very frequent updates
I need to blog more regularly lest I miss out on recording those precious memories.
Hope to meet you in person sometime soon

/ March 11, 2012Hey Joce, u write well and and share interesting stories, tats y I enjoy reading your blog
No need to thank me, hehe…I am just true to myself by blogging my thoughts and struggles, life is not a bed of roses really…so I really need to depend on Him.
The wordpress app is pretty good. I have no problems posting, but my issue is the poor quality of pictures that I get from my phone. So I think one way to get around it is to keep the content as a draft first while on phone, then logging into com to upload proper pics.
Yes..I look forward to meeting u soon too!
