Fickle minded

That’s the kind of mood that I am in, when I have to deal with a toddler who refuses to take his nap on a lazy Sunday afternoon…

That’s so funny! We need their naps more than they realise huh!? By the way, can I know where to buy the cheddar “fish” cookies you gave rae-ann in HK? Thanks! :-)

  2. if oni they have a snooze button…

  3. ErMin – Yes, like what Merryn said. I wish K is able to sleep whenever I need him to 😛
You can get it the biscuits from Carrefour (at the organic products section)

Merryn – If only…if children are so easy I will not mind to be a mom of many kids :)

  4. A good book to recommend to you : WHAT EVERY PARENT NEED TO KNOW – THE INCREDIBLE EFFECTS OF LOVE, NURTURE & PLAY ON YOUR CHILD DEVELOPMENT
    or
    THE SCIENCE OF PARENTING

both the book author : MARGOT SUNDERLAND

This book recommend by my aunt when she deal with her son….

  5. i get what u mean….:)

  6. Haha… me too!!
Couldn’t stand my son’s screams and crankiness, sometimes!

  7. hey, I totally empathise!
It was such a nightmare getting her to nap and a nice lazy sunday became unpleasant. So I decided why torture both? It’s a rare treat for me to spend an afternoon with her… so on weekends, she naps if she wants to, if not its family time :)

  8. My son refused to sleep on Sunday night, it’s worse.

So my Sunday night was “burnt” due to my son refusing to sleep and “talking” to me. I have to give him another extra feed to put him on sleep. :(

  9. The feeling’s mutual. Although mine isn’t with sleep issues, somedays, he gets too unreasonable to be true. That’s when I feel like “selling him to the mob”….hahaha

  10. the little prince – thanks for the recommendation. Will need to finish a couple of parenting books still in progress before checking this out though.

Wonderful Life – Thanks for dropping by. Sounds like it’s quite common having conflicting feelings when u are a parent.

Kristie – U little one still in the super huggable stage. Wait till he starts running around and showing his independence. Sometimes I wish I can turn back time back to the days when K was 8-9 months.

  11. Kole – Have attempted to arrange for family time on those lazy weekends, when K refuses to take his nap. But seems like he really needs his sleep cos he can be extremely difficult without it. Keeping my fingers crossed that he prob might change when he turns 3 or 4.

Shuey – Oh dear..Sunday nights. You must have quite a tiring start to a new week. Parenting really needs alot of energy and flexibility.

Karen – You are lucky not to have to encounter any sleep issues with Ethan. Well, I guess it’s normal for most of us parents to have to experience some ‘terrible twos’ behaviour with our toddlers.

  12. *laugh* That is just too familiar… isn’t it?

  13. Hi there! Thanks for dropping by my blog 😀

The quote is really funny. I feel like that most of the time 😀

  14. Mommy to Chumsy – Thanks for coming by. Life sure can be conflicting esp when you have a little one :)

  15. these little energizers are never tired! even at 4 year old, my son’s favorite line is ‘NO, I AM NOT TIRED!’even if he can barely open his eyes!

  16. 4malmal – I wonder where all that energy come from? One thing I have learnt so far, try to stay away from letting him take in too much sugary stuff.

  17. This is so funny!!!
